My Personal Student Visa SOP Example – APPROVED LIKE A BOSS!

Standard and meaningful visa SOP example is hard to find these days. All you get is some copy pasted and repeated stuff in each SOP samples you find on the internet. I personally went through hundreds of visa sop samples but couldn’t find anything different in all of them.

With all that being said, I decided to share my personal SOP (Statement of Purpose) which I have prepared staying awake for days and nights for my Canada Student Visa application. I would suggest that you take only ideas and references from this SOP and do not copy paste the whole SOP as it is.

Visa SOP is the most crucial part of your student visa application and visa officers are highly interested in reading your honest statement of purpose. So, if you copy paste content from someone else’s visa SOP, then they will figure out it really well. I get this question asked a lot: how to write a statement of purpose?

In this post, I will explain it all.

What is SOP?

The full form of SOP is “Statement of Purpose”.

SOP simply means stating your genuine and convincing purpose for your student visa application to whatever country you are applying to.

Most countries like, Canada, USA, Australia, New Zealand, UK require you to write statement of purpose and attach in your visa file. Out of all these, Canada tops the list as they are super curious behind knowing your intentions behind your visa application.

Visa SOP (Statement of Purpose) is all about sharing your experiences and giving a firm statement and/or a reason why you are eligible for any particular country where you want to study. So, my experiences and your experiences and reasons won’t be the same as yours and vice versa.

You will get to know more in a minute once you go through my sop example.

How to Write A Statement of Purpose?

It’s all about letting them know why do you want to go to their country to achieve your dreams.

Writing statement of purpose is all about proving your point about why you are perfect fit for their country and why their country is perfect fit for you.

Be honest and pour out all of your passion in writing that one paragraph. That one paragraph can change your life. Don’t take it lightly. Don’t take it for granted.

In order to write straight to the point SOP, first off, list down the things you want to write in one piece of paper. Then, start explaining those points in quite professional and convincing manner.

Try to make good use of your vocabulary. You can reference to some of the words I have used in this particular sop example.

Statement of Purpose Format

I have encountered numbers of people saying there’s no particular statement of purpose format.

I disagree with that. Totally.

I mean you are most probably planning for graduate school statement of purpose.

That’s not a small thing.

Visa officer would be more interested if you sound more professional in your SOP. And, in order to do that, your SOP needs to be formatted really well.

In this SOP example, I have followed really nice statement of purpose format targeting to make the beloved visa officer as engaged as possible.

Without wasting much of your time, let me show you my visa SOP sample. One can refer to this statement of purpose sample for Australian visa application, Canada visa application or USA visa application or any other countries for that matter.

Warning: I would like to iterate one more time. Do not risk getting your visa rejected by simply copy pasting this whole SOP and changing the variables, words and your program. Remember, it’s not your college assignment submission. It’s for visa application for your dream country. Visa officers are not stupid. It’s real big deal. You are just supposed to reference it. If you still find it hard to prepare a convincing SOP, you can take my professional help for small fees by contacting my very own study abroad visa consultancy through email (TeamAbroadHero@gmail.com).

I & my team have helped students with multiple rejections as well as first time applicants getting their visa approved by writing “one-hundred-percent unique” and meticulously strong convincing SOP.

Every SOP we make is stronger and helps significantly to the applicant in getting visa approval.

We follow systematic manner in drafting a perfect and strong SOP.

If you make use of our service, we will send over a small Questionnaire form having all the details we need from you for drafting a perfect, strong visa SOP. For example, the year you passed your undergrad or diploma, work experience if you have any, your chosen program, your admission intake, the date you want to apply, IELTS or TOEFL score etc.

We have helped a lot of people ten-folding their visa approval rate and also helped large number of people to convert their “rejected” visa file into “approved” one. All with the help of one document only, Visa SOP.

Subject: Statement of Purpose for Masters

(Note: Your subject might change like statement of purpose for mba, for grad school, for computer science etc.)

Respected Sir/Madam,

I would like to have this opportunity to introduce myself as a tech enthusiastic person whose life is basically all about computers and programming. Ever since my father bought me a computer, there were hardly some days in which I would not be on my computer learning something new, doing something interesting.

Slowly and gradually, the hobby became a passion and I made myself determinant about making a career in Computer Science. This passion and love for computers led me to pursue Bachelors of Engineering in Information Technology from Gujarat Technological University.

Why Masters of Applied Computing at the University of Windsor?

(Note: this heading will be different in your statement of purpose format. For example, mba, nursing, graduate program etc.)

As I considered my alternatives for post-graduate studies, the Masters of Applied Computing at the University of Windsor has emerged for various reasons. The interdisciplinary way of the program is particularly appealing to me, as this will give me a much more extensive, more down to earth comprehension of all major concepts of Applied Computing, including the advanced database concepts and also the network and security concepts.

With the innately worldwide nature of today’s computer programming industry, it is vital for me to contemplate in a universal domain far from my home country, and doing as such in one of the reputed university in Canada will absolutely give me a novel advantage in my career pursuits.

Having had the privilege to learn practical aspects of multiple programming languages and subjects such Data and File Structure, Operating System, Database Management Systems, Object Oriented Programming With C++, Software Engineering, Computer Graphics, Web Technology and Programming, Advanced Java Technology etcetera in my under graduation, I am confident of adding to the paradigm diversity of the applied computing world by joining the University of Windsor for my post-graduation.

The Master of Applied Computing offered at the University of Windsor will surely substantiate me with the right acquaintance, dexterity, and practice to accomplish my professionalism. Advanced Computing Concepts, Network and Data Security and Advanced Systems Programming are among the few courses, which I wish to pursue there.

Working out with the highly experienced and skilled faculties along with the prominent facilities being provided will surely back me in my academic pursuit.

My profile is having all the pre-requisites for the admission and I have secured my admission there. I have secured 7.07 CGPA in my under-graduation and scored overall 7.0 bands in my IELTS test.

Extra-Curricular:

In addition to the courses that I have taken in my under-graduation, I have been exceptionally active outside of the classroom, participating in extracurricular activities and working on personal projects in order to inspire myself and broaden my perspectives. For instance, I have developed Personal Time Management Application, a project, despite the fact that being non-academic, at last, gave me an opportunity to learn and implement latest technologies for personal use.

I have developed a graphics based game which was solely focused on increasing typing efficiency of users. Moreover, I successfully delivered a presentation to my juniors teaching them PHP Programming and Importance of Programming. All of my past endeavors makes me feel highly motivated and energetic at adopting new attitudes and encountering new things. This is definitely why I have chosen to keep improving myself by considering for a graduate degree in the University of Windsor, Canada.

Why Masters in Canada?

Canada was the first and final choice for me when I was in a phase to choose a country for my post-graduation because of some straightforward reasons. The education system of Canada is brilliant in all sorts of ways and ranked as best among the whole world. In addition to that, Canada is a safe and peaceful nation with superb health care facilities.

All Canadian institutes provide a dynamic, innovative and challenging environment in which one can create and nurture their true potential. Canadian qualification will surely be a strong base for boosting my career and building my future.

Every year, talented students from all over the globe do come Canada to study so that they can make their dream come true. Studying with them will surely expose me to their cultures and ethics, as well as improvise my communication skills.

How to end a statement of Purpose?

Now comes how you should end your SOP part which is really important as this will be the last thing that will be sticking in visa officer’s mind before he proceeds with next steps. You need to make sure it’s appealing in your own SOP.

Future Goals

After completion of my masters in Canada I intend to come back to my home country with the outstanding skillset and join the IT industry, which continues to thrive in India, as a computer engineer.

In past decade, the world has shown tremendous growth in IT sector and there is and will be a huge demand for IT professionals in near future. So, I would like to come back as a high skilled techno-functional computer engineer and join some reputed organization to make a bright career.

Hence, after completing my course I am confident that I will easily get a suitable job in leading IT organizations in India. At the end, my only goal is to be a successful and dynamic professional in near future which can make me stand out among all. Also, I have paid 11,360 CAD in my tuition fees and 10,035 CAD in Scotia Bank’s Student GIC Program to cover my first year living expenses.

Dear Sir/Madam, I hope that you will find all my documents in proper order and I kindly request you to process my visa application as soon as possible. I am very much thankful to you for giving me your valuable time to process my student visa application.

Sincerely,
Unnitkumar Metaliya

Beyond Perfect Letter of Explanation (LOE) Sample for Canada Student, Work OR PR Visa

Preparing the best letter of explanation for Canada visa is hard. Isn’t it? Well, your search for best LOE for Canada visa (cic) ends on this article.

Be it a letter of explanation for visitor visa, student visa, work visa or even permanent residency for Canada, this article is the exact thing you were looking for to get your visa approved.

Also, since Letter of Explanation is the kind of document which can get your approval-worthy case rejected and rejection-worthy case approved depending on what you write or don’t write in it, it’s my humble suggestion to read every single word on this article which took me like a month to put on internet.

When you are planning for studying in Canada and gathering all the documents that you need to apply for study permit or work permit, almost everything is readily available there and you just need to arrange it at one place. I am talking about your mark-sheets, fee receipts, degree certificates, financial documents, passport, digital photos and everything. However, while doing the visa process and online application for Canada, you arrive at this particular thing called “Letter of Explanation”.

You see everything is almost readily available except one thing, the Letter of Explanation for your Canadian visa application.

This is when you think, wow, what the heck is that! Never heard of it.

You open new tab on Google and search for terms like, “letter of explanation samples”, “letter of explanation for cic” or “Canada study visa letter of explanation” etc.

My friend, let me tell you one thing. You are not alone. I did the same, my friends did the same and almost everybody does the same thing.

If you are still reading this article, you must be thinking why am I telling all these?

Well. In the search of perfect letter of explanation for Canada study permit application, I found none.

I read many of them and all of ’em seemed like some 8th grade essay types which aren’t convincing enough for as powerful thing as Canadian visa application.

I mean sure, if I am doing some kind of primary school application back in my home country, I would surely reference those basic letter of explanation samples written probably in 2005.

(Fun Fact: the level of perfection I (try to) aim in writing, I think I would still not reference them for primary school applications. 😉)

However, at the time, I was talking about the letter of explanation for studying Masters in Canada, which was a real big deal!

The visa officer needs to feel the letter of explanation is written by a potential Masters degree candidate. If they feel like, I am showing them something copy pasted from internet, it’s a red flag for them to give me rejection.

With that said, if you are already going to spend days and nights on getting your whole Canadian visa application together, you might as well spend 10-15 minutes to read this post.

Because, hey, I drafted this post with a kind of motivation in my mind, which was thought out something along the lines, “I wish a post like this existed for letter of explanation sample when I was doing my Canada student visa application.”

I’ve spent days and nights working on my Letter of Explanation drafting every single line by brainstorming different ideas which are not only convincing to visa officer, but also unique and elegant to read.

In this post, I will not only share the perfect letter of explanation sample, but I will also tell you how can you make yourself to write something similar for your study permit application.

While, this post is mainly centered towards student visa application, I believe all kinds of applicants be it PR applicants, dependent visa applicants, work permit applicants or even citizenship applicants can reference this post and gain some knowledge for sure. You see, the content inside it might defer but the format and way of explanation should be same for all kinds of applications.

I would further insist, you don’t skim through this article just like any other post on internet, but read every single line to get the better picture. I promise if you digest this post fully, you won’t have to roam around on internet for the same thing again. I am not bragging and I don’t need to as it has been a long while since I completed my study and now working in Canada, but I think it’s a ruby gem you are looking for in terms of letter of explanation or statement of purpose. This post is purely purposed to genuinely help people across the globe. It’s not for me, it’s for you.

Now, I think that’s enough of introduction for this post. Let’s get started with actual content that you came here for.

What is Letter of Explanation?

Let me give you a straightforward definition in the context of Canadian visa application. You see Canadian Immigration Embassy wants you to standby your motives and don’t misuse the system they structured. Meaning if they think you are trying to migrate here permanently by means of student visa, it’s concerning for them. To be more clear, if you are coming here as student, they want you to return back to your home country once you are done studying. Of course, your motives and plans may change after coming here and knowing the Canada as a country better. They don’t have problems with that. Thousands of people come here as students and start working later on which generally and usually gets followed by becoming a Permanent Resident (PR) in Canada. They know this thing for sure by their historical data.

However, even after knowing that, they don’t like the fact that you are using student stream because it’s easy way for you to become a PR. You know what I mean! Wink!

They would love it if you directly apply for PR instead of student visa if your end goal is to become a PR eventually.

I am not an expert in this field, actually no one is (damn! those consultants calling them experts! I hate ’em for ruining people’s lives charging ridiculous money!). Off-topic over! Sorry about that dear reader!

However, I know this by doing historical data analysis of people who got their visa rejected. With a reason stating, “you won’t leave Canada at the end of your stay”.

I hope not but it might be true that you are on this article after getting rejected with the same reason. Who knows!

I love it when data speaks.

That’s the most common reason to get rejection on Canada student visa. And, one reason behind that can be an immature and pretty basic letter of explanation with no proper explanation actually written in it or whatsoever.

Keeping all this historical data into consideration, I made myself determinant on NOT writing very simple letter of explanation copying from different places on internet for my own student visa application.

I told myself, I am gonna start writing on blank word file and I will make sure every single line I put in that letter of explanation document comes from my own mind and not somebody else’s.

And, I did it.

Hold your horses. I am gonna share the uncut version with you real soon in this very post.

How to Write Perfect Letter of Explanation for Canada Visa?

I don’t want to give lengthy explanation on this one as I am going to share my full letter of explanation sample in a while. That will give you better idea instead of mainstream explanation.

However, if not anything, your letter of explanation should address these questions in depth with proper professional sounding language.

List of Questions that a Genuine Letter of Explanation document should address:

  • Where are you from?
  • What course or program you are coming for? At which college or university? What is the duration of the course?
  • Why did you select that particular college or university?
  • Why did you choose Canada for your abroad studies?
  • Why not the same course in your home country?
  • What is your travel history?
  • What is your work experience or internship experience history?
  • How your chosen course is relevant to your past education and work experience? (This is bit complex part and you need to prove some relevancy even if there isn’t. If your past education and work experience is different than your chosen field and course work, you need to give them a justification of some sort to not reject your visa application based on irrelevant course selection reasons. Shoot us an email on TeamAbroadHero@gmail.com if you need our professional help in this regard.)
  • How was your standings in your under-graduation and all the past education?
  • If you had backlogs or failures in some subjects, do you have explanation?
  • What is the relevancy of chosen course with your past education and work experience? Prove it.
  • What is your financial ability?
  • What are your reasons to go back to your home country once you are done doing studying or working?
  • And, many others which gets sprinkled in the Letter of Explanation here and there based on your own unique profile.

It’s not a lot. Is it?

Now, you must be thinking if you are supposed to address only this set of questions, let me just go ahead and start drafting the Letter of Explanation right away. It’s a piece of cake.

Wait a moment.

Before you start hurrying towards your own Letter, you need to make sure:

  • the letter of explanation (LOE) that you write is not wordy
  • the LOE is not boring
  • the flow in your LOE is nice and coherent
  • has a decent amount of professional vocabulary
  • the answers to above mentioned questions are not just one-word or one-sentence types. You need to write them deliberately in your Letter of Explanation for visa file.
  • And, the last and most important one, your Letter of Explanation is not at all copy pasted from internet.
  • It SHOULD and it MUST be one-hundred-percent plagiarism free.

If you have read this far without skimming anything, that means you are serious about your LOE. Now, you know what should and shouldn’t be there in your Letter of Explanation.

I won’t test your patience anymore. Let me just go ahead and share the beautiful sample Letter of Explanation for visa file with you.

Warning: Before I share the actual sample Letter of Explanation, let me remind you one more time. Don’t let all your hard work, preparation, efforts and time go into waste by simply copying and pasting this whole LOE sample and just changing the variables. Keep in mind, you are not doing it for your college assignment. It’s a matter of getting your visa approved or rejected. If you find it super difficult to prepare a convincing, powerful and low-risk Letter of Explanation for visa file, feel free to take our professional help by getting in touch with my very own study abroad visa consultancy through email (TeamAbroadHero@gmail.com). Subject: Statement of Purpose for the Application of Student Visa

Institute Name: University of Toronto, Ontario, Canada
Course Name: Masters in Information Technology Systems and Security

Respected Sir/Madam,

I see Information Technology field as the greatest of all to make the world a better place by bits and pieces. It makes me happy when I see the innovations gearing up and making human life extremely productive. My ambition is to make a difference in this world by improving the IT security as I firmly believe what Robert F. Kennedy once said, “The purpose of life is to contribute in some way to making things better.” I want to impact lives, by improving their personal digital security and their quality of life, as well as having the chance to teach them preventive measures.

I would like to begin this document by mentioning that I am extremely passionate in my chosen field, Information Technology & Network Security. I strive every day to rise up and find creative ways to educate myself by reading articles, exploring research papers, work on side projects and do everything I possibly can to become better tomorrow than what I was yesterday.

Ever since I can imagine, this interest got revamped in passion and I made myself determinant about making a career in the same field. This passion and love for IT Security kept growing and growing the more I explored about it during my Bachelors in Computer Science education.

After and during my Computer Science graduation which is highly relevant to IT Security, I immensely started reading IT research papers, programming blogs and computer science concepts in general which sparked a life-long interest in me to accomplish Information Technology Systems and Security as my primary career.

As I am sincerely serious about this career goal, I am leaving no stone untouched and putting 100% efforts to convince and explain you about my dreams and aspirations. I realized this course is super important for me to mark my spot in Indian information security industry.

And, I would like to be honest for the fact that my purpose behind getting this study permit is to only and only study in Canada and come back to India peacefully. To be truthful, it’s my burning desire and long-term career goal to get Canadian degree in Information Technology Systems and Security before I officially start with my full-time career after coming back to India.

I have no doubt that Canadian education would undoubtedly support me to work with best Indian industries.

Why Masters in Information Technology Systems and Security at University of Toronto?

Relevancy of the Course

This course is highly relevant to three things, my past education, my work experience and most importantly, my life ambitions and dreams. As I considered my alternatives for further studies in information security related programs, the Masters in Information Technology Systems and Security at University of Toronto seemed best choice for various reasons. I finalized this course after much more deliberations and expert advice from my professors, seniors and brainstorming for multiple days and nights.

Not only the offered subjects are strongly relevant to what I studied in past and aim to become expert at in future, but also the structure of the program and courses involved are particularly appealing to me. Given the globally popular demand of today’s Information Technology Systems and Security industry, it is essential for me to envision in a universal domain far from my home country, and doing as such in one of the reputed institutes in Canada will absolutely give me an innovative advantage in my career pursuits.

Having had the privilege to learn practical aspects of information security during my education, doing side projects and also a decent amount of work experience, I am confident of adding to the paradigm diversity of the Masters in Information Technology Systems and Security industry by joining the University of Toronto for my further studies. This program will surely provide me with the right skillset, personality, and practice to become best in my professional career after coming back to India. Two things I am highly interested to mention in these Letter of Explanation for visa file are, relevancy of my past education and work experience.

Speaking about the past education relevancy, I studied Bachelors in Computer Science from Indian Institute of Technology and graduated with 83% without any backlogs or failures. In my Bachelors in Computer Science education, I have taken numbers of courses related to Network Security, Information Technology, Computer Programming, Web Development, Database Administration and many more which would tremendously help me with all the course work in my chosen course Masters in Information Technology Systems and Security at University of Toronto.

Speaking about the work experience relevancy, after my Bachelors in Computer Science education, I have worked in variety of IT related roles like Web Developer and DevOps Engineer at very well-known companies in India like Microsoft and Flipkart. I have managed to learn huge amount of fundamentals in terms of Information Systems Security by performing a list of duties on my daily job at these companies. I am sure my tenure at these companies would significantly help me to do amazingly well in my course at University of Toronto.

My Current Qualifications and Alignment with the Chosen Program

The Masters in Information Technology Systems and Security at University of Toronto has all the abilities to provide me with much more all-embracing, perfect comprehension of all major concepts being used in Indian information security industry. As per my preference, the whole program teaches many interesting subjects and courses including the Introduction to Project Teams and Technical Communications for Software Development, Programming Fundamentals, Introduction to Networks, Networking Protocols and Concepts, Fundamentals of Virtualization, Introduction to Information Security, Advanced Networking Concepts and many others. All these subjects are extremely important in the Information Technology Systems and Security duties that I will be engaged on daily basis in my future career. I have secured amazing grades during my 10th and 12th grade education as you can see from the marksheets I have attached in my visa application. In addition to that, I have done super good in my Bachelors in Computer Science and graduated with 83% without any backlogs. Also, I’ve secured overall in 8.5 bands in IELTS with no less than 7.0 bands in any module which successfully meets the criteria University of Toronto provided for the admission.

Future Goals

After completion of this program, I am determinant to come back to my home country with outstanding skillset and join any reputed organization functioning in Information Security industry, which continues to thrive in India, as an expert in IT Security field. In past decade, the world has shown tremendous growth in this sector and there is and will be very huge demand of Information Security Specialists in near future. So, I would like to come back as a high skilled techno-functional information security Expert and join some reputed organization to make a bright and prosperous career.

Hence, after completing my course I am confident that I will easily get suitable job in leading reputed organizations in India. At the end, my only goal is to be a successful and dynamic professional in near future which can make me stand out amongst all people involved in Indian information security industry.

Why I will surely come back to India?

I have more than many good reasons to come back to India and not live in Canada permanently.

The main reason is my family. I am so dearly close to all my family members, relatives and friends. It’s a sacrifice I am doing to live away from them for 2 Years to study Masters degree in Canada. After my studies, I would again like to join them in India and be close to them.

The only reason for me to come to Canada is the way how Canadian education system is structured. I have seen many people coming to Canada for studies and come back to India with outstanding skills which led them to get better jobs and higher positions in reputed Indian organizations.

Due to all these reasons, I will have to come back to India as soon as I finish my studies in Canada.

Financial Ability

To back my academic as well as living expenses, I have great financial support from my family. I have paid 41,000 CAD for my tuition fees. In addition to that, I have paid 10,200 CAD as a part of my Student GIC Program to cover my academic as well as living expenses. Also, I have bank loan sanction letter worth around 25,000 CAD in loan secured particularly for my study in Canada career goal. So, that was the perfect letter of explanation sample for Canadian visa application. You can reference it for Australia, Ireland, UK and USA visa application too.

As you can see, how the information flows in this Letter of Explanation (LOE) sample and the way it convince the visa officer to approve the application.

I hope you have liked this LOE sample and it was helpful for your student visa, visitor visa or work permit application.

Intended work in Canada Section Express Entry Profile – DON’T DO THIS!

Lot of people mess up this section called “Intended work in Canada express entry” section and end up risking their whole express entry profile. There’s no doubt the section title is bit misleading and confusing.

When I was creating my express entry profile, everything went buttery smooth until I arrived to this section called “Intended work in Canada”.

They are particularly confusing you with intended work in Canada job offer thing and in this article we will solve that for your express entry profile.

It includes one simple question:

Does FIRSTNAME LASTNAME have a job offer in Canada?

The offer must:

  • be for full-time and for at least one year
  • meet different requirements depending on type of job (i.e. some need apprenticeships and certification) and
  • be non-seasonal for Federal Skilled Workers.

The problem is there’s not even a help button unlike other questions explaining the section better.

That’s fine.

I went to Google and searched for the same thing with no luck in finding proper answer.

However, if you landed on this article with the same problem, you will get the proper answer for this confusing Intended work in Canada express entry section.

The thing is, if you know something about LMIA, it would be easier for you to digest this post. If not, I will explain it to you what in the world is Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA).

Yes. That section Intended work in Canada express entry section is for LMIA people.

If you are applying for Canadian Express Entry (CEC) class after one or more year of experience, you are supposed to select “No” in that section.

The reason is, if you select yes, the Canadian visa officer will assume you are applying under LMIA category.

What is Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA)?

It’s a category of applying for Permanent Residency in Canada for which you need a valid job offer stating they will be employing you for at least one year. If you haven’t worked in Canada and manage to get such type of offer from some employer, you can apply for PR under LMIA category before completing one year requirement. However, this is more complex and confusing process.

With that said, if you think you managed to get points and enough score without LMIA or you haven’t even heard what is LMIA, don’t worry about that section and just select No in Intended work in Canada section and move on for next section in your express entry profile creation.

Genuine Temporary Entrant Sample for Australia Student Visa

The best Genuine Temporary Entrant letter must meet all the criteria provided by the Department of Home Affairs Australia. The GTE statement is slightly different than sop document however, you are highly required to submit the GTE letter along with your Australia visa application.

In this GTE immigration sample for Australia visa, I helped my friend getting his Australian student visa approved by writing a strong Genuine Temporary Entrant (GTE) statement.

Unlike other websites on internet which just keeps giving you bullet points on how to write a Genuine Temporary Entrant (GTE) statement, I am here to provide you with the full and proper GTE statement sample written from scratch and brainstorming for multiple days and nights. It’s proven to be worked really well for not only my friend but many others whom I help on regular basis.

I searched for examples of GTE statement all over the place. I totally remember the frustration of not finding a good genuine temporary entrant sample when I wanted to draft one for my friend. However, having been providing professional SOP writing service for over many years now and helping hundreds of people from around the globe, I know what works and what doesn’t in your Genuine Temporary Entrant (GTE) statement. I know that secret sauce you are looking for. You will find everything in this Genuine Temporary Entrant Letter Sample for Australia.

Hold tight till I share the fully written Genuine Temporary Entrant Letter with you. Before that, I need to explain few important points which will be hugely beneficial in your student visa application for Australia.

What are the Genuine Temporary Entrant (GTE) Requirements?

The Genuine Temporary Entrant is a set of requirements given by Department of Home Affairs Australia. It is there to establish trust on you with a motive that you don’t use your Australian student visa for any other purpose than studies. Many people get the student visa for Australia and they end up doing illegal work during their stay and don’t go back to their respective home countries at the end of their studies. Now, you might be thinking, who wants to go back after studies? I want to settle there in Australia. Nobody goes back. Everybody stays and things like that.

You are right. Nobody wants to go back after studying in Australia. But, unfortunately, the Department of Home Affairs Australia doesn’t think the same way. They want you to stand by your original purpose of visiting Australia and stick to that.

Even if you don’t want to return back to your home country, at least for the sake of your Australia student visa, you are supposed to convince them otherwise. And, the reason for that is, you could have applied under some other category if your full motive is to stay in Australia permanently. However, while applying for student visa Australia, you are obliged to stay to the Genuine Temporary Entrant Requirement.

How to write a perfect Genuine Temporary Entrant Letter?

It’s hard but not impossible. You circle around the main thing of sticking to all the Genuine Temporary Entrant requirements. You target on convincing the visa officer on your motivation being to only study in Australia and come back to your home country. You give them strong reasons about why you are worth it for their education system, how you will obey all the laws, rules and regulations. You convince the visa officer on why you chose Australia and not any other country. You prove strong ties to your home country and provide them with proper reasons why you would be coming back.

However, it all lies back to one question. Do I just put all these in simple paragraphs? How do I do that? That makes me write another section.

What is the difference between Genuine Temporary Entrant Letter (GTE) and Statement of Purpose (SOP)?

To be fairly honest, nothing much. However, they are not entirely same either. Genuine Temporary Entrant is the Australian way of calling the document you write to explain visa officer about your dreams and aspirations. Statement of Purpose (or SOP) does the same thing. Also, both these documents mainly focus on convincing visa officer about the reasons for returning back to your home country in undoubtful way. The only difference between GTE and SOP is the formatting and the way of writing. You need to keep in mind that while writing GTE, you need to set a tone for Australian based person while in the case of SOP, it’s for Canadian person.

Genuine Temporary Entrant Letter Sample Format

You will find lot of people arguing against, there’s no proper format needed genuine temporary entrant letter. I don’t agree with that. I mean com’on. You are writing a letter to visa officer who will be making that Australia visa refusal or approval decision. You are supposed to give him some respect. Apart from you, he has got other hundreds of applications to review on daily basis. Keeping that in mind, you, my friend, would better be writing your Genuine Temporary Entrant Letter in high-quality structured format.

It would be highly recommended if you make the visa SOP statement crystal clear with all the GTE requirements clearly being met.

Start with your personal information involving your full name as per passport, your address, email ID you are going to use for visa application. Then address the visa officer proceeding with the subject title. After that, I would recommend to mention the course name, duration and institute name. After all these, you may begin the process of writing a strong, powerful Genuine Temporary Entrant Letter.

I think that’s enough of important information. Now, let me directly share the full Genuine Statement Letter Sample with you.

Warning: Do not completely copy paste this GTE statement letter and change the variable information as per your profile. Australia is very strict country when it comes to plagiarism. You will be taking a big risk just in case you end up doing that. No matter what you think it takes seconds to them to determine that you are showing them copy pasted Genuine Statement Letter. If you get the temptation to copy paste fully or even some paragraphs, hold on for a second and remember the word “Genuine” from GTE. There’s a reason why Department of Home Affairs Australia is calling it a Genuine Temporary Entrant Letter.

Subject: Genuine Temporary Entrant Statement for the Application of Student Visa

Institute Name: University of Melbourne, Australia
Course Name: Masters in Finance

Respected Sir/Madam,

To achieve all my dreams and aspirations in the field of finance here in USA, I am applying for student visa for Australia as I have already secured admission in the course of Masters in Finance at prestigious University of Melbourne. I believe it’s such a great career move to set myself on new heights by gaining super-powerful and top-notch finance knowledge from my chosen course.

The main thing I would like to put in front of you by this Genuine Temporary Entrant letter is, I am extremely passionate in my chosen field, Finance. I always look for the opportunity to rise up and be mindful in the finance field by exploring the research papers, reading the best-selling books in this sector, reading magazines and articles and also attending e-Meetings and webinars in this COVID-19 times,

It didn’t take longer for this interest becoming passion for me and soon I became determinant about making a bright and rewarding career in the Finance field.

As I am honest and sincerely serious about accomplishing this career goal, I wish to leave no stone untouched and put 100% efforts in this Genuine Temporary Entrant document to convince and explain the visa granting committee about my dreams and aspirations. I am fully aware that Masters in Finance at University of Melbourne is super important for me to mark my spot in American universities.

And, I would like to be truthful for the fact that my intention behind getting this study permit approved is to only and only study in Australia and come back to USA peacefully where I live with my family. To be honest, it’s my long-term career goal and burning desire to get Australian degree in Finance before I officially start with my full-time career after coming back to USA.

Undoubtedly, the Australian education of Masters in Finance from University of Melbourne would heavily support me to work with best American industries.

Why I Chose Masters in Finance at University of Melbourne?

Lately, I have been exploring the fundamentals of domestic and international Finance sector during my past education and work experience, which sparkled a permanent interest in me to take over the Finance as my full-time career.

After exploring all the open options for me to pursue graduate level education from developed countries like Canada and Australia, I chose University of Melbourne as my final choice to invest my time and financial resources. I understand Australian education, especially in Finance sector is top-notch quality and teaches so many basics to advanced things which no other country in the world is capable of. Sure, there are decent universities here in USA too, but to grow better as a person and be more productive, it’s much needed for me to get foreign education.

I am confident my course Masters in Finance would significantly help me in becoming expert in American financial companies like JP Morgan, Berkshire Hathaway, Jane Street and Two Sigma.

Course Relevancy with Past Endeavors

I can resonate the Masters in Finance course with three things in my life: my past education, my passion and most noticeably my passion for the Finance field. As stated earlier in this GTE statement, when it came to considering the alternatives for further studies, the Masters in Finance at University of Melbourne seemed best and final choice for variety of reasons. After much more deliberations and expert advice from my parents, professors and seniors at the workplace, I finalized to pursue this course and achieve meaningful heights.

Not only the subjects and courses I will be taking are strongly relevant to what I studied in my past education and aim to become expert at in future, but also the overall design, courses involved and the motive of the program are particularly appealing to me. Understanding the globally popular demand of financial sector professionals, it would be a stepping stone moment for me to partake in a universal domain far away from my home country, and doing this from one of the reputed institutes in Australia, the University of Melbourne would absolutely give me a state-of-the-art advantage in my career pursuits.

Having had the privilege to learn practical aspects of further career during my Masters and working in the financial field for 6 years, I am confident of adding to the highly versatile field of the Masters in Finance by joining the University of Melbourne for my further studies. This program has the ability to surely provide me with the right skillset, personality, and knowledge to become best in my professional career after coming back to USA. Studying and learning from the experienced and skilled professors along with the extra-ordinary facilities being provided will surely back me in my academic pursuit and setup bright future in best American financial institutes after coming back to USA.

Alignment of Current Qualifications with the Chosen Program

The Masters in Finance at University of Melbourne has all the power to provide me with perfect and all-embracing comprehension of required concepts and ideologies being used in American financial sector. To compliment my preference, my chosen courses teaches pretty interesting subjects like Financial Resource Management, High Capital Growth Markets, Fundamentals of Finance, Finance in Marketing and many others. The mentioned subjects are essential for me to mark my place in American financial sector. Also, I remember completely that I used to live and breathe the Finance related subjects in my past education and working in the Finance field for 6 years.

Speaking about my profile, it meets all l the pre-requisites and I have successfully secured my admission at University of Melbourne without any hiccups. I have secured 87% during my Bachelors in Commerce field. Also, I’ve secured overall 8.5 bands in IELTS with no less than 7 bands in any module which successfully meets the qualification criteria the University of Melbourne provided for the admission.

Future Goals & Ambition

Right after graduating from the program, I am determinant to come back to my home country with professional skillset and join any reputed organization for the roles in financial sector, which continues to boom in USA, as a Finance field expert. In recent times, the world has shown incredible growth in this sector and there is and will be very huge demand of financial sector professionals in near future. So, I would like to come back as a super-skilled techno-functional financial expert and join some reputed institute to make a bright and prosperous career.

With that said, after graduating with Masters in Finance, I am confident it would be easier for me to get suitable job in leading reputed financial institute in USA. After all, my only goal is to be a successful and key person in near future which can make me stand out amongst all people involved in American financial sector.

What are my genuine reasons to come back to USA?

I have plethora of reasons to return back to USA after my studies and have no intentions or whatsoever to settle down in Australia.

The first and foremost reason is my family. I am so dearly and deeply close to all my family members, relatives and friends here in USA. It’s a safe to say that I am doing a huge sacrifice to live away from them for 2 years to study Masters in Australia. After graduation, I would again like to join them in USA and be close to them for rest of my life.

The only reason for me to come to Australia is the way how Australian Masters programs are structured. I have seen many people coming to Australia for studies and come back to USA with outstanding skills which sets them for higher positions in reputed American organizations.

Due to all these reasons, I would be surely coming back to USA as soon as I finish my studies in Australia.

Availability of Financial Resources

To support my academic as well as living expenses, I have great financial support from my family. I have paid first term fees of AUD $19870 for my tuition fees. And, I have secured around AUD $24,000 from bank loan for which I will be putting bank-loan sanction letter in my application.

Dear Sir/Madam, I hope that my visa application reaches out to you in proper order. I kindly request you to give attention my visa application as quick as possible and permit me to study Masters in Finance at University of Melbourne so I can accomplish all my dreams and ambitions after coming back to USA.

Thank you very much for your time.

Sincerely,

Unnit Metaliya

Documenting My Startup Journey – Day 00

Hello, Ya’all!

I know it’s been a long while since my last post. That’s because life was turning in full circles and it was becoming hard to take time, throw some words and write a post.

Anyway, let’s skip that boring part.

I was lingering around this idea for a while and thought to make some sort of system which is solely focused on helping my targeted demographic (can’t reveal at this moment) when they need it the most.

It’s basically going to be a one-stop solution for what seems like a multi-level tedious process currently in certain field. Feel free to throw your guesses in my inbox to receive, “yes”, “no” or “you are close” response. 🙂

I will be revealing enough information once MVP (Minimum Viable Product) is ready. Means, product is somewhat ready for end-users to start using.

The other reason behind starting this startup is being exposed to all the latest technologies and put them into real-life-problem-solving-mode to get hands-on experience. I am a developer and this is something I should keep practicing. The idea behind starting something useful to make the world a better place provides a lot more fun.

The idea behind starting this startup documenting journey was to keep myself accountable to push code into master branch (private git repository) whenever I can. If not anything else, then it’s going to be an amazing learning experience for me.

From time-to-time, I will be publishing posts explaining what happened, how’s the process going, what I learned and much more. As I am working part-time on this startup, things might take a while for an update. However, if you feel impatient at some point, feel free to bug me in my inbox as it might boost me to put in some work and provide you with an update.

At this moment, I have listed current pain points of end-users and list of essential features. Also, I am working on system architecture and setting up the development workflow for productivity.

Stay tuned. 👍

The Addicted Gamers

So, there was this library I used to visit every once in a while.

For around a month, I used to go there daily. I wasn’t going to the quite floor. Instead, I preferred open discussion kind of place.

It was good for a while, but, once I started getting more accustomed to place, I started noticing my surrounding environment.

For particular time of the day, it would become full of gamers.

They’d come. Setup their laptop. Be so excited about the free time window they got between their lectures. Plug in their headphones and start playing.

Some would get so frustrated if they lose or something undesirable happens in their games. They’d feel like they lost part of their life.

I went there again after around four months.

I found the same gamers with same setup, same excitement, same games and same addiction.

Things didn’t change.

To be honest, for a while, I also used to play lot of games back in my undergraduate days. Then, I got bored and now games don’t interest me that much. I wish to develop/code some basic mobile games, but I don’t think I, myself, would play them.

Back to what I feel about these gamers.

I feel sad.

I feel they are as addicted to their games as a smoker would be to cigarettes and drinkers to alcohol.

I didn’t know why people get so lost inside their gaming world when I used to be that guy back in college. But, I know that now and I wish I knew it back then.

It has got something to do with built in music in their games.

Yes.

The game development companies invest good amount of money in sound design part of the game.

They make it a hypnotizing music. A music which would take you in deep level of concentration and possibly make you feel unaware about your surrounding.

Do nothing but just play that god damn game for whole day long, just because of this music.

You don’t know it consciously, but your sub-conscious does.

That’s why you don’t like it when someone interrupts you while you are gaming.

I came to know about this thing because I use concentration music as my rescue when I need it most. I am a fan of concentration music. I mentioned it in one of my vlog (MY CONCENTRATION HACK) as well.

If you go on YouTube or SoundCloud, and search for concentration music, you’d find music compilation of same music used in world’s popular video games like Project IGI, Battlefield, Call of Duty etc.

Sometimes knowing the cause of addiction helps in getting rid off that addiction.

So, if you are an addicted gamer, this is the reason why you are addicted.

If you are not, share it with your friend who is addicted.
