Here again after having super awesome day.
Waking up wasn’t difficult. My eyes were open before alarm rang and it’s always fun to go back and utilize the left time in dozing off for a while. Those few minutes seem like a blessing in disguise. I took screenshot right after jumping out from bed. So yeah, 4:50 a.m. was the exact time to be precise.
This day was amazing. I started my day with reading a book ‘The Dip – A Little Book That Teaches You When to Quit (and When to Stick)’ by Seth Godin. One of my favorite author. The book is all about when you should quit and when you should stick to any sort of things like business you are setting up, skills you want to develop, habit etc. What amazes me most about Seth Godin is his writing style. You would feel like ‘bring me more bring me more’ while reading his any blog post or a book.
After reading the book for a while, I cloned the old GitHub repository of AngularJS project and made some changes. Coded for couple of hours.
Around afternoon, a friend called for a hangout. I won’t deny the fact that the type of work I do gives me full of freedom. I can work whenever I wish and from wherever I wish. No time limits. No stress. Nothing. However, I still wanna do job somewhere to gain some experience as money is not my top priority at this point of time. But, Learning is.
In his book, Crush It!: Why NOW Is the Time to Cash In on Your Passion, Gary Vynerchuck (a successful businessman) once said, “In your 20s, focus on Learning. Not earning”.
Now, coming back to the track. So, initially, I thought to deny the request of my friend as I was thinking to get started with newly arrived project. But, in conversation he mentioned that, please meet there’s one surprise! Now, you know human mind. Right? It’s our natural tendency towards surprises that builds some kind of instant urge which won’t let us be thoughtless from figuring out what it would be or what it might be. I had no other option than saying “Yes” as I was equally excited to meet him after many days and well not to forget the surprise!! I love surprises. (Who doesn’t?).
We met at the place where we used to meet and surprise was already there. It was our common friend. We haven’t seen her since like ages. It was indeed a surprise. It always feels amazing to meet your friends after long time. So, you know what, in case any of my old friend from any time or from anywhere, be it a school, college, old society or anywhere, somehow ends up reading this post in the future, just hit me up! Let’s meet! You and me both don’t know how awesome and fun would reminiscing the memories and recalling our old crazy shit we have done together be.
All and all, this day was full of fun and me and my buddies altogether had a great time hanging out.
Tomorrow’s going to be super busy. I hope I don’t get any distractions.
To the productivity… Cheers! 😉
